ASYSOL’s Planar Near-Field scanner systems are accurate, fast, and ranging in frequencies from micro-wave to mm-wave bands; systems can be configured as vertical or horizontal scan planes as well as customized per specified requirements.
All our scanners are manufactured, assembled, and tested in our advanced state-of-the-art production facilities, ensuring high performance, precision, and planarity. This is achieved during our installation by using laser alignment equipment, such as modern laser tracker.
A lightweight tower structure with high rigidity travels along with a high precision floor slide; our planar Near-Field scanners are available in different sizes with travel ranges from 0.5m to over 10m and utilize distributed driver electronics.
AS standard setup, we add a polarisation positioner that is mounted upon an automated linear Z-slide, offering compensated planarity for maximum precision. The scanners are fitted with absorber screens that are adaptable to the customers’ application and frequency range. Industry-standard brushless and linear motors, alongside absolute direct linear encoders, offer highest positioning accuracy. Rotary joints, RF connectors, and internal RF wiring are included as standard.
Real-time control gives the end-user high-speed operating conditions within the shortest possible acquisition time. Ease of user operation is key. Onsite installation includes accurate scanner alignment and calibration which is documented in a system calibration test report supplemented with user manual.
