Product Description
To provide the highest performance in line with the specific demands to test 5G devices, a line of small-size mobile CATR setups, so-called mini-CATR, was developed. These setups feature all desired properties of their larger counterparts but can also be easily moved to another location by unlocking the installed wheels. The design includes a rigid and stable bottom structure-preserving the CATR geometry at all times and allowing relocation without the need for additional alignment.
The mini-CATRs are typically provided with QZ sizes ranging up to Ø0.5 m and are mainly used for frequencies above 18 GHz, however, versions down to 3 GHz are available as well. Both serrated edge and blended rolled edge reflectors can be provided depending on specific requirements. Each of these solutions has its advantages and drawbacks and the customer has the freedom to choose what is the most appropriate. If so required, both of these solutions can be further tailored to the specific measurement application of the mini-CATR.
If applicable, the Millimetre-wave converters are integrated into the mechanical and RF setups allowing easy plug-and-play changing the frequency bands. Customization of the setup can also be provided to allow multiple control and power lines for active Devices Under Test through power chains integrated into the rotary positioners. Open and free controller API with full support from ASYSOL allows programming any specific DUT motion sequence as desired for a particular application.
