Dr Sergiy Pivnenko and Bernhard Priemer will be part of the senior management team taking up the roles of Technical Director and Operations Director respectively. Dr Pivnenko is a leading European scientist with over 15 years experience in the field of antenna measurements. In the past he has headed up an antenna metrology lab on behalf of the European Space Agency. Bernhard Priemer, a senior mechanical engineer, has designed numerous antenna ranges across the whole world and has been active in the market for the last 20 years. ASYSOL would like to welcome these two new employees to the organisation.

The chamber measuring 7m x 4m x4m will be operational from 2 to 18GHz and allow R&D staff to conduct measurements in the far-field and spherical near-field of antennas up to 1m in size. ASYSOL will also supply the shielded enclosure and the absorbers for the chamber. The antenna group will perform measurements from 1 to 6GHz on a number of antennas for different R&D projects. This solution is based on ASYSOL’s state of the art positioners and automated slides. (ASYSOL) has received an order from Telecom Italia to deliver a Compact Antenna Test Range and a Near-Field measurement system to be installed at the company's R&D laboratories in Turin. The CATR will generate a quiet test zone of 1m and will operate from 3 to 110GHz and will be used for testing point to point millimetre wave antennas; in addition a spherical near-field facility will be provided for testing base station antennas. The project includes adding a spherical near-field range to an existing far-field and RCS measurement range. Located in Sweden, the near-field range will be used to measure reflector type antennas for aeronautical applications. After weighing various alternatives, the customer chose ASYSOL’s innovative and cost-effective measurement solution package. Madrid 31 Oct 2014. Antenna Systems Solutions S.L. (ASYSOL) has been chosen by the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey to supply a fully turnkey indoor antenna measurement system. The range will operate from 2 to 40GHz and will allow technical staff at METU to measure antennas using the spherical near-field technique. The shielded room (7.5m x 5.5m x 5.5m) will be manufactured by making use of the ASYSHIELD product and provision will be made for a future Compact Antenna Test Range upgrade. Madrid 15 Dec 2013. Antenna Systems Solutions S.L. (ASYSOL) has received an order from Vodafone España to deliver a 3.5m x 2.5m x 3m shielded room for pre-commercial testing of new upgraded BTS systems. The facility will be built and installed at Vodafone's headquarters in Madrid and will allow RF technicians to test new BTS versions in a fully shielded environment. ASYSOL's flagship shielding product ASYSHIELD was found to be fully compliant with the required specifications. Madrid 1 Aug 2013 Antenna Systems Solutions S.L. is proud to announce that it has been selected to participate in the AMACEPAR project in conjunction with TTI (coordinator) and INESCO (partner). The consortium will be responsible for the development of a 30 kW modular power amplifier based on solid state for particle accelerators. Madrid 29 Nov 2011. Antenna Systems Solutions S.L. (ASYSOL) has received an order to upgrade a third party Compact Antenna Test Range facility in Taby, Sweden. RF Partner AB, our local distributor in Sweden, secured this project by working closely with Powerwave a major multinational wireless antenna provider. The current CATR system will be modified to extend the lower frequency of operation down to 680MHz by making use of ASYSOL's standard linear Compact Antenna Test Range feeds.
