On May 12, 2026, ASYSOL participated in the Grand Opening of TESTAR’s new Compact Range Test Chamber at SBIC within NL Space Campus in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. The event marked the official inauguration of a new facility dedicated to advanced antenna measurement and RF testing activities for the European space and high-tech sectors.
More than 80 attendees joined the event, including representatives from ESA, research organisations, startups, technology companies, and innovation partners from across the European space ecosystem. Throughout the afternoon, participants explored several facilities within the campus ecosystem and exchanged perspectives on antenna measurement technologies, RF testing capabilities, and future collaboration opportunities.
A New Compact Range Facility at NL Space Campus
The Compact Range Test Chamber has been developed through the collaboration between TESTAR and ASYSOL, combining TESTAR’s operational framework with ASYSOL’s expertise in antenna measurement systems, RF testing solutions, compact ranges, and anechoic chamber technologies.
Located at SBIC within NL Space Campus, the facility has been created to provide accessible, high-precision antenna measurement capabilities for companies, research organisations, startups, and innovation projects operating across the space and high-tech sectors.
Following the inauguration, antenna measurement services performed at the facility will be carried out by ASYSOL’s specialised RF and antenna measurement engineers, who will support customers with measurement planning, test execution, and data analysis activities.
Guided Tours and Technical Exchange
As part of the event programme, attendees participated in guided visits across three innovative locations within the campus ecosystem, including TESTAR’s Compact Range Test Chamber, CometLab, and Stellar Space Industries.
The guided tours and technical presentations provided valuable insights into ongoing developments in antenna measurement technologies, RF testing capabilities, and innovation activities taking place across the campus ecosystem.

Strengthening Collaboration within the Space Ecosystem
The day concluded with a networking reception at SBIC, where guests enjoyed Spanish hors d’oeuvres and wine in a relaxed environment designed to encourage conversation and collaboration among attendees.
ASYSOL would like to thank TESTAR, NL Space Campus, Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk (SBIC), CometLab, Stellar Space Industries, Provincie Zuid-Holland, and everyone who attended the event and contributed to making the inauguration such a positive experience.
The inauguration of TESTAR’s Compact Range Test Chamber represents an important step toward expanding access to advanced antenna measurement and RF testing services within Europe. ASYSOL is proud to contribute its expertise to this initiative and looks forward to supporting future measurement activities, collaborations, and innovation projects at NL Space Campus.
